DESTINATION AND TRAVEL INFORMATION

Airport Lungi: Airport transfer to Freetown can be done: by road around the estuary (2hours), by speed boat across the estuary ( 25 minutes) . Note speed boat crossing includes bus transfer from Lungi airport to the sea shore (10mns drive).

Airlines: Brussels Airlines (via Brussels), Air France via Paris, Royal Ai Maroc (via Casablanca)

Visa: required for British Passport holders

Transit visa: required for Sierra Leoneans passport holders, if they have to change airports when transiting via Paris.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

On arrival, passengers proceed by bus (with ferry) to downtown Freetown. Additionally the hovercraft service between Maheru Beach and Aberdeen will be reintroduced.

1-By Speed Boat (25mns duration - sea crossing).
Two companies operates this service: Sea Bird and Sea Coach
Sea Bird boat finishes at Murray Town (Freetown district)
Sea Coach boat finishes at Aberdeen (Freetown district)
One way fare GBP30 Adult, GBP22 (child 2 to 8yrs), Infant Free

1-By Ferry (very unreliable, doesn’t run regularly). One way fare GBP2 pp. Passengers need to get a taxi to the ferry harbor.NOTE WE ARE NOT SELLING IT

3-By Road government coach (very long transfer 3 to 4 hours due to heavy traffic) One way fare GBP15pp. NOTE WE ARE NOT SELLING IT
